Thanks to the people who started this support/informative group. I miss my son terribly....had no idea it would be so bad. I was numb when he left but felt it would be great for him....still do....but the tears started yesterday. Only a parent can understand the mixed emotions. On a high note I got the box today!!!!

My son left on June 8th as well. I have cried more about him leaving than I did when my daughter and grandsons moved away. I think it's the fact that I can't just talk to him whenever I want to check in on him. That final phone call was the worst, but it is getting easier by the day.
That is amazing. I hope my sons is also the 31st because I was planning for it to probably be around 8/7. I am so excited now.
My son left June 8th too. The box came on Monday but no form letter yet. I'm missing him so much.
I am soooo happy for everyone who received their form letter this week. My son arrived at bc june 9th and I haven't received anything but "the box" yet. Hopefully, he will graduate on the 31st of July like others are talking about....I miss him so much!!!!!
My son also arrived 6/9 and we just received the form letter 6/18. His PIR is scheduled for 8/7 though
My son also left June 9th. I totally understand the emotions you are going through. We knew the day was coming but it was so hard when it finally got here. I spent the rest of the day in a total funk, even our dog moped around the house. I will say it's gotten easier. I miss him terribly but he has wanted to do this for many years and I'm so proud of him for doing it. I'm so glad this website exist!
