For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Sooo excited!!! Day 19 and my son called at 5:40pm for 15 mins. I was like I am so happy to hear you...are you ok, in trouble why you calling..he said they just let us call. It was nice to hear his voice and hear he is fine.

So happy for you! You have to be so excited. I actually just logged on to ask about the 3 week phone call. Just curious to know if there is any rhyme or reason to when it might come around that 3 week mark. My son shipped out June 11th so it will be 3 weeks Monday. Just got the form letter yesterday. Which thank you all for the advice to sign up for the Informed Delivery. Though it made for a long day at work!:)

Suz221it depends if they RDC schedule the calls and phone bank. And it depends on the RDC. I would keep your phone close you never know. I will put a site for you ok.
