Welcome proudmom!! I just added you to the calendar! Please jump in to the main discussions on the March page - We are all here to support each other and I must say have the greatest group around!!
What rate is your SR? (job)
Be sure to post your Ship and Division when you find out - so I can add your numbers to your name on the calendar! It's like a badge of honor for us!!
Again Welcome to the March Madness!!
Hello again - and Welcome all the Newbe's - So sorry I was absent a couple of days - my computer has been acting up so I had to work on it some - but... I think I fixed it enough to get by a little longer!! LOL
OK - time to catch up the calendar!! Congrats to those that received their numbers!! I just added them to your name!! (Its like a badge of honor isn't it?)
Malachani'smom I just moved you!! Woo - Hoo for you getting those extra HUGS!!!
OMG - I finally changed your name - but you are so close I added a little something for you to smile about!! Check it out!!!
Hope all that had loved ones leave this week are feeling better today - give yourself time - throw those BGP's in the corner for the weekend - You will find you don't need them quite as often!
To those that have loved ones leaving next week - Get those BGP's ready - Trust me - you will need them!!! But remember we are all here to help you thru it just as you have helped us!!
I cant believe we only have less than a week and everyone will have a loved one in BC!! We have all gone on this journey together - some of us longer than others - Right ladies?? (I think jdmom was the first to comment- about page 147 - in June Then Ozzy then in July OMG and myself in August 2010 - I first logged on to this site over 9 months ago but didn't post until August - I just read a lot! Then finally got the courage to make my first post LOL!) Thanks again to all - We will HAVE to stay in touch as I consider all of you my Navy family!! It is so great to have so many 'sisters' that have or will go through the same experiences!! Let me know if I have missed anyone on the calendar - either their ship/div or adding them!! Hugs to everyone!!!
CMom it really has been a long journey, it makes me sad that all of us can't be at PIR together it would be great to be able to meet everyone. Hopefully I will catch up with at least a few of my main support group. I agree it has been getting easier this week but I am geting impatient about not having his note on the form letter yet, but I know that will come. It still blows my mind how few of us there really are on this site, if you think about all the kids that are there I really feel for all those other families that do not know about this it absolutely has made the road easier.
To all of you leaving this week hang in there, it was hard but does get easier. I still have my moments that it smacks me in the face but they are getting fewer and further between and I keep holding on to no news is good news!
Congrats MaggieJoan!
I just added your numbers!! Woo - Hoo!!

My Best to all of you and your SR'S !!! I was in your shoes exactly 1 week ago and what a difference a DAY in a WEEK makes. Knowing you daughter or son is going to be doing just what they need to be doing for themselves for many, many different reasons but one fianl goal!! I wish you peace in your SR's departure. It will be OK.
good luck to all the families who have SRs leaving this week, my thoughts and prayers are with you all. sending huge hugs too. this is the last of our march group to go, wow
Here is to our last week Ladies...may the time to PIR go as fast as the time did while we were waiting for them to leave. Good Luck Recruits...stay strong....GO NAVY!
