Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Leaving for Boot Camp 3-24 & lots of emotions!
Had my daughter's "Going Away to Boot Camp" party yesterday. It was a huge success. All our family and friends came over to wish my daughter "Good Luck" and show their support! We are on our final countdown and it's really starting to hit me. I have a ton of emotions going through me right now. It's really starting to hit me! I'm nervous and scared just like my daughter. I don't tell her this. LOL I keep reassuring her and telling her how proud I am of her! I let her know that she is ready and that she isn't alone with her feelings. She will be surround by so many kids feeling the exact same way. Her leaving is going to be hard but I MUST remember that it will be harder on her. She is the one leaving everything behind for the next 8 weeks Not me. I will still have my family, friends, dog, home, phone, tv, bed, etc. I will be fine. I will write her each day to remind her how proud we are of her, how much we love her and support her and can't wait to see her at PIR!

My son also shipped out March 24th. He told me he left a list of things he wanted me to bring to him when we came for PIR. I went to his desk to look at the list, looked up and he had left a note on his dry erase board for me, "Love you all to the moon and back, Be Happy" Love me.....so I sat and cried a few minutes. I will be glad to see him at PIR! Have received the Box but haven't received the form letter at this time. Wondering what his PIR date will be, assuming everything proceeds without problems?

PIR will either be 05/15/2015 if he is in a Push Division and was placed in one of the last divisions from the TG from the week before or 05/22/2015 if he was placed in one of the first divisions of last week's TG. Arrival and What Happens at the RTC will let you know what is happening and what to expect.
