How are the March deppers doing? I'm missing my daughter already.

I'm missing my son like crazy, it is so quiet around the house. Each day gets a little easier. I hope you are doing well. I am patiently waiting for "the box" and our first letter so we can write to him! I wonder all the time how all the new recruits are doing and hoping they are leaning on each other for support.
Hi, when did your son leave? My daughter left on the 20th. Although she was often at work or out with her friends and I felt like I didn't see her that much anyway, It's just different now. No voice saying mom can you do this or that or are you making dinner? I miss her dearly. I have 3 younger boys ranging from 8 to 11 yrs so its not quiet but I miss my girl! How old is your son and where are you guys from? I can't wait to write her either. I catch myself praying a few times a day for her. I'm not a religious fanatic but it helps me. I hope they are supporting each other too! Lets keep in touch.
Tammy
Hi Tammy - it's Teri (Elli's mom). We met at MEPS. Hope you're doing well. I got Elli's letter and I'm anxiously awaiting the box. Fed Ex came by 3 times last week but we were out town. It should be delivered today. If you still have my card, email me. I have a couple pictures with your daughter in them from the swearing in ceremony.
Teri
Gosh, our kids left the same day. I bet they have met. When I spoke to my daughter after she arrived at the Chicago airport. She told me that they were waiting on other recruits from other states and that's why they couldn't leave for the training center yet, crazy. My daughter "Arianna" is 18. she will turn 19 in May. Our babies will spend their birthdays in boot camp. We are from MD and yes graduation won't come soon enough. I'm glad you have others at home, it keeps us somewhat occupied. Well keep me posted on if you hear or receive anything and I will do the same. Btw, what's your sons name?
If you do choose to share names on here, make sure to only share first names. If you choose to share full names, friend each other and share those in a PM. OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes To Your Profile) has some information you need to see as well and some changes you may want to make. Please join Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) while you are there as well.
Holli, please check out OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes To Your Profile) (clickable link) within Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) and make at least the first 2 changes at the bottom. I also invite you to join that group while you are there and check out the other Pages (found under the pictures of the members) for there will be a lot of information and support in that group as well. The PIR group will also be posted there first when it is created.
