Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Hello am also a new navy mom My daughter left on 3/27/12 and is so proud of her, I got that 30second phone call WOW it was so fast she sounded good,So if there anyone with Information on Planes Car Rentals and Hotel I would really appreciate any help Thank You:)

Looks like your grad date will most likely be May 25...but it could go a week either way. When you get your grad date (form letter) in a week or two post it on here and look in the groups for the PIR group (may not have been formed yet...YOU may need to form it) The link is often posted in the Boot Camp Moms group and here. Just watch for that as well.
In the PIR group there will be info posted in the discussion forum there. But, you can search the site here also. See the search box way up in the upper right hand corner? Type in what you want to know there.

Hello Hi thanks hopefully it's that day But do you mean a week later or sooner? I got her box today :( and the day she got there got that 38seconds phone call she sounded good, Whens your daughter grad.

Hi James Mom Thank you yes I got her call the same night she got there for 38seconds and I got her box today I felt so sad :( miss her so much, But am SOO very Proud of our Sailors Maybe i just have to wait till i no what group she in do you no what one James is in yet.

Hello Ty's Mom your son called you on thursday he didnt call you when he got there on the 27th my daughter did at 8:15 Calif time thats were we are from and I got her box on friday with her clothes shoes and cell phone it was a little :( but we are all Proud of our kids :)Thanks yes lets all keep in touch.
