Hello My son left to Bootcamp on 3/17/2010.

I am interested in getting to know other mothers with children in the same Division.

This has so far been a difficult journey for me and It would be wonderful to not do it alone.

Regards,

Hi Iris,
I just heard from my son's recruiter. My son is in Ship 12, Division 186. You and I are close so I'll still stay in touch with you. I'm going to open a discussion to see if anyone has a son in this division, but I'd love keep hearing from you. Susan
Hi, I just found out my Son is in Ship#12, Div# 185. This has been the longest week ever. I can only imagine what our Son's are going through. Do you know if there a group started for this group already?

Pam
Hello Susan & Pam

I am sorry I havent really been on, but between my son leaving (and depression setting in), and getting bronchitis I havent had the energy. It is getting a little easier and I am counting down the days (44 to go).
I made reservations at the Ramada Inn and am still debating between driving or flying.
Since I am driving from PA (Solo) i am really thinking of what is the best option.
I havent gotten a "real" letter from my son yet but I write him one every other day.
I think he will probably write me to say "MOM STOP WRITING!".
I look foward to meeting some of you at graduation.

I'm sure he'll never say stop writing. I've been trying to write every day but I'm running out of news so I didn't write today. We received a letter yesterday and it sits out on the counter. I must have read it a dozen times already. It makes me feel good about him being there, learning and growing. I can't wait to go to PIR and see all of the changes. Glad you're feeling better.
