My daughter leaves May 29th as well

You and harleygirl are the only ones I have seen that have children leaving that day.  Is she your only child? Mine is the "baby".  This is a great site.  I have learned a lot from the other moms.  Welcome and ask all the questions you want.  Everyone is very helpful.

She is my oldest and I also have a 17 year old son...the emotions are running rampant right now.  How are handling it?

My daughter leaves this Tuesday, May 15th.  when she got her date back in December, i thought oh we have plenty of time.  Now it's only 4 days away.  i was a single mom with her for 7 years before i remarried and those were the some of the best times because it was just her and i.  I have a 10 year old daughter that i think thank gawd that i have her.  i would drive my husband crazy.  i'm just trying to stay strong and not break down in front of her.

My son left Monday 5/14..it's been a rough couple of days.

My son left on 5/15.  It is surreal....I miss already!

I'm harleygirl and my son leaves on the 29th also.  This is a great site for info and support.  I have learned alot about what to expect that my son did not tell me.  That has helped me to feel less anxious about the whole experience for both myself and my son.

My son left this past Tuesday, May 8th. We knew since last fall that he would leave in May and also thought we have lots of time but the time flew by and it was here. It's only been a couple of days and I miss him like crazy.

My son's going away party is this Sunday.  Then 9 more days and he leaves.  Time goes by so fast!!!

My son is Leaveing on May 21st. Is there anyone else that has a child leaving on this date.

My Fiance left on the same date as your son, his parents just got his box of stuff yesterday. If you got yours too i hope your holding up ok, it hit all of us kinda hard.

My son left today for Fargo, ND today and will arrive in Chicago tomorrow.  May 21st.
