My boyfriend, soon to be husband, leaves on May 5th, 2015. I wondered if anyone is leaving for boot around the same time. I remember a lot of the process when his brother went two years ago, but this time it will be my husband leaving me. I would love to find people who will be going through this at the same time.

PIR will be 07/02/2015, NOT July 3rd. Yes, wait on the form letter.

Those flying out will most likely fly out the day after PIR (flights on 07/03/2015), but those staying in GL will have daytime Liberty each day of the weekend. See PIR Day and Liberty During PIR Weekend to help you know how to plan your weekend.

Check your My Page.

Ok Thank you.  I have still not received a letter.

I also do not see anything on MY PAGE? Do I need to check my settings. Still learning the ropes of this site and how to use it

I left a comment on your Comment Wall.

Bisousmommy you are not alone, my boyfriend left May 6th, i received his box, and a phone call from him yesterday <3. I am still waiting on his form letter, I feel that being a week and a day now since he has left i have gone through the worst of the agony that my heart was feeling. But it is still hard. he left our apartment a mess with all of his clothes he was going through for donation. the clothes he kept are all over the place and I still have yet to clean everything up. Talking to him on the phone for 45 seconds though definitely helped me out a lot <3. I am definitely in the same boat as you, but trying to hold strong until i get his first real letter from him. Someone who went through this whole process from start to the end of her husbands 4 years in the military told me to count the weekends - It makes the countdown go by so much faster. Hang in there, we got this <3

We suggest counting Fridays. See Arrival and What Happens at the RTC.

Thank you so much, this is very helpful!

You are very welcome.

I received my letter today. Ship 11 Div 224 PIR July 2nd. YAY!!

Ship 14 Div 225- 07/02. Yessss!!

Yeah kandie
