My daughter arrived at Boot camp on Oct. 3.  I have not received the letter I've been reading about yet, or anything from her but just a quick phone call to tell me she was there and may be able to call me again in three weeks.

Her recruiter gave me an address for her so I could write, but I've not heard any more from her.  I'm wanting to know if she will be able to write letters home during her time there.  REALLY longing to hear from my girl....  :/

Haven't heard from my son either, he left the same day. Trying to figure out graduation travel is difficult. I've started a running letter to him to mail out as soon as the famous letter arrives. Lol. He never gave us his recruiters name. So independent. The waiting is hard, I'm sure. Hang in there!

We won't be able to travel to the grad, but I'd least like to know my letters are going to the right place.  Fortunately my daughter's recruiter is staying well in touch with us.

Hi YappinPoodles. Haven't quite figured out manuvering this site yet. My son left this past Tuesday. I actually got his box yesterday! I was pretty stunned. I haven't spoken to his recruiter, I just met him on Monday. But I did find his business card on Brian's desk. So if I don't get the letter by end of this week, I think I may call him. I've seen a few places that the address he gets could not be where the recruits wind up. Too many unanswered questions!

I'm worried about not having received the letter because I hear they could be in a place different from what the recruiter told me.

My boyfriend left on the same day and his mom received a letter yesterday with his mailing address . You should be getting the letter soon with the exact address.

I hope something comes today.  Her sister and I have written a couple times---hope our letters are getting to her.  I can't wait to hear from her.

My son arrived on October 3rd also.  I just received his letter on Saturday.  It was post marked the 9th.  I had gotten an incomplete address from my son's recruiter, which made me a little anxious.  There is a group in here for 11/27/2013 PIR.  You may want to look at that and see if you can get more information.
