my son leaves on October 2, 2012 for boot camp.  I am so happy and proud of him.  But, not sure when I will stop crying.

theresa320. I leave the same day!

good luck to you. wish you the best.

My daughter leaves October 2nd also! The reality comes in waves right now, but I am afraid after the 2nd I won't be able to stop crying. We should definitely keep in touch so we can commiserate. ;)

my son will be at great lakes, il.   i know how you are feeling. it feels like Niagara falls with my tears.  I know he will be fine, but I will miss him.  This is his career path and I fully support him.  May you daughter and my son be safe.

godsgirltmm where is your daughter leaving from? It would be crazy if her and I ended up in the same division.

She is leaving from Jackson, MS. Where are you leaving from and where do you go to A school?

My daughter leaves the 2nd as well. She will be an HMS (Corpsman).

My son leaves the 4th. You'd think some of them will end up bumping into each other at Great Lakes.

I leave from San Antonio, TX then I come back to San Antonio for A school.

My daughter has A school in San Antonio too, corpsman.

my son leaves tomorrow also. he is flying from NOLA but is from Gautier, Ms. I have been crying for days. you would think I would run out of tears.lol.. it will sure be nice to talk with all of you whose children will be there with my son. We are not sure yet if we will make it to Graduation so that is weighing very heavily on my heart too.

my son left on 10/2/2012.  i did not realize i had that many tears.  i am so proud of him and hope he will be safe.  i do hope you can make it to your sons graduation. if not, i am sure he will understand. he would have made so many friends by then and i am sure those families will invite him to join them.
