I didn't get my letter in the mail today either. I haven't checked Paula's mail yet though.
If you don't have the form letter on Thursday, then call the recruiter and then double-check the address against those at http://bootcamp.navy.mil/contact_recruit.asp or Ship/Division--How it Works.
BTW, you may want to make change number 4 within OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes to Your Profile).
Not that it will make you feel any better, I did not get one either and I have not heard back from his recruiter.
I'm glad we are all on this page together. I would be going crazy if I didn't know that you all hadn't gotten your letters either. I feel like our guys must all be in the same division. Our recruiter told us that they were on SHIP 2 Div 906.
The Page, 800 and 900 Divisions, within Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) will be of interest to you since you have a recruit in a performing division. I believe that Division 906 is Ship Staff/Honor Guard. That division should have PIR on 12/20/2013 unless there are two 900 divisions in the 12/13/2013 TG, which does happen about 4 times a year--more after a week has been skipped than before though.
if our kids left on the 10th, would they be in the 906 division? I was hoping for a 12-6 PIR.
I'm a little surprised at Division 906 rather than Division 905, but it is possible.
Our recruiter could have incorrect information. I'll check with them again tomorrow. Unfortunately we have been given more incorrect info than correct info from them over the last year.
