The official letter arrived today. He left for boot camp on September 5th. The letter says the tentative graduation (PIR) is November 3rd. He is on Ship 14 Division 345. Anyone else's son on the same one?

Hi Jen.
My son left on the 5th and is also Ship 14 Division 345. Received box on Friday and letter Monday night. I thought that was quick compared to what some of the other moms have posted. Hope you are doing well. I knew it was going to be hard, but I didn't realize it was going to be THIS hard. Plus, I think my son tried to call yesterday on my work phone and I missed him. Broke my heart.
I agree. My heart hurts. I miss my grumpy teenage so much. I know it will get easier. I already booked a motel room at the Ramada Waukegan/Great Lakes. They have a bar and I know I'm going to need a glass of wine Thursday night to calm my nerves... lol
Are you sure it was him that tried to call you? They are not allowed to call until the 3rd week. Hang in there.

I also received my letter today. I am curious though. My son didn't sign nor does any of this look like his hand writing? Did your son/daughter sign? What about the hand writing?

My son left on September 5 also. The letter was definitely his handwriting. He is Ship 14 Div 346. Miss him like crazy and can't wait to hear from him.
Hi my son left in the 5th also. We are supposed to fill out licensee ids and send back or send info to our son ?
