Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

My Daughter left today Sept 25th and still no phone call!
I am just waiting for more info while I go to sleep with my phone. I am wondering when her PIR date will be with the Thanksgiving Holiday approaching during graduation time. I am worried about my daughter even though she is one smart, tough cookie she was in a car accident last Wednesday rolled & totaled her car & phone. We were afraid she would not be cleared to leave but she was cleared Thank God but I hope she is doing good.

She's fine and in good hands. No news is actually good news this early in the game. A lot of SRs cannot call if they did not bring a cell with them. This is mostly due to not having a chance to make that call or not having a pay phone available at that time and had to move onto the next portion of processing.
Unless they need info during that first week, they will not be permitted to make phone calls until their third week and that is usually on a Sunday. Remember, processing week is not counted as week 1. Hang in there. I gets better. If you haven't received the form letter yet, you will soon. Then about a week later you will receive your first personal letter.

Thank You KwajMom this is good to know> I keep reading others that are getting calls so I get worried, Her recruiter told her to leave her phone home so she did. He also told her to bring nothing with her to send home so I will get no kid in a box. This is the longest I have gone with no contact. I just wanna here her voice & her famous "Im alright" this girl is tough yet full of life I miss her smile the most!

My son leave sept 25 for bootcamp he called us wednesday at 10:00 p.m. We are 45 minutes for great lakes training.
