Hi Sheryl!

I am sorry you won't be able to attend the packing party this week-end.  There is some confusion with the other group because of the names being so similar.  It is too bad they chose a name that causes this mix-up to happen.  I had joined the other group, but nothing seems to happen there so I dropped out.

I haven't heard from very many people who are coming on Sat.  I hope they've just forgotten to respond.  I'm going to send out another message and see if I hear from any one else.  If I hear from anyone coming from up your way I'll let you know.  But don't worry, there will always be another one.

Take care & looking forward to meeting you IRL!

Hugs,

Donna

hI Donna,

Thanks for responding . Again appologies I was thinking it was me not 'joining ' a group in the correct way !!

Please let me know how it goes and if there are any after the party things i could do ?

I would just like to feel part of things ...

Hugs back to you

sheryl :)

Hello Sheryl!

I sent a reminder about the packing party to everyone, because of the confusion of yesterday morning -- first the adoption was cancelled and then after lunch it was back on just with different adoptees.  I also thought that perhaps people who originally thought they couldn't make it, might have had a change in plans and now could attend.

We will be doing a big party in December, but it will be for a group after the holidays.  I thought we'd do better to get thru this one first and then worry about the next one...  Right now I don't even remember the date!

Well, I have to get ready and get going.  Lots to do today!

I will try to get back to you this afternoon and fill you in on what's happening.

Hugs,

Donna

Hi Donna,

just checking in with you . Im here to help if i can . Just let me know details ....

Have a great weekend

take care

sheryl:)

Hi Sheryl!

Well, you probably read that the packing party had to be cancelled.  But, there's another coming up really quickly.

Sunday, Dec. 4th

University of MA at Lowell

(I forget the name of the Hall, but I'll get it)

University Avenue

Lowell, MA

The cheerleaders are spear-heading a drive, collecting items for a packing party.  We just need some Moms there who can help.  For example, how to tape a box so it doesn't fall apart in the crush of shipping.  And, it might be best for Moms to fill out customs forms & paperwork.  Plus just lend a hand where needed.

Let me know if you are interested.  Sorry this is such short notice.  Tami, the cheerleaders' contact w/MA Navy Moms is in charge but has had some trouble with securing a place to work.

Hi Donna,

i would love to come and help out . Its a lot closer to me too .Just tell me a time and ill be there . Ive had lots of practise with packing for my son in San Antonio, with the 'if it fits it ships 'boxes !!

Have a great night

sheryl xx
