I tried the FB page.  No one has responded to my request to join the group.  One of my questions is, would I be able to go visit my son in June?  He just started at Ft. Meade.

My husband graduated from A school in September of 2014. I learned a lot and here to help if and when you need it. :)

Hi lakeview, yes, this group is active.  My son graduated from A School October 2014, but new people are always joining as us old ones fade out.  I'll be happy to answer any questions if I can, though!

Joje - I tried searching for it, but it says there is no such group.  I tried searching in general, but I can't find it.  Can you give me a link?  Thanks!

Hi there...I wanted to make sure that everyone knows that there is a Facebook page for those of us with sailors at Fort Meade!  It's "Navy Parents of Sailors in MC A-School."  It is a closed group, so you'll need to send a request to the admin, but lots of great info!

Hello everyone! My Sailor had his PIR 11-26-14 and he arrived at the airport in B.More today. Not worried, but I am curious! Are there any tips you all can think of to share with him? I'm waiting on him to see if he can find out the Christmas leave dates since he won't know if he has watch during it yet. Also has anyone had to go through their processing of marriage licenses? He's told me a few things his chief told him at Great Lakes, but I'm wondering if any of that changes like he was told he didn't need "permission" to get married that he could just provide our marriage license and I would have to come fill out paperwork to be put on his DEERS and page 2.
