I live in Rosemark just outside of Millington. My son Chris went to BC in April. He'll be home for Thanksgiving, and Christmas right now he is still in A school in Pensacola.

I'm game for a local get together. I don't get on here much now that Boot camp is over. I live near Millington but work in Memphis. Weekend or Weeknight anyone?

Hello Everyone...new here to the group. My son David leaves for Great Lakes August 2nd. He is going to be a Corpsman. I have mixed feelings about it all and hope through support, will get through this okay. Does this group ever meet face to face in meetings or anything ? That would be great if it did.
Thanks all and have a great Memorial Day weekend !!

Hi everyone!

We have received a request from MCPON asking if there are any members out there who would allow him to use your sons/daughters name in a speech he will be making in Chattanooga on May 7. MCPON will be the Grand Marshall in the Armed Forces Day Parade and would like to highlight some local Sailors. Please send us a PM as soon as possible! We'd like to get some names over to MCPON by Friday morning.

Thank you!
Colleen and Elizabeth

Hello All! I'm so thrilled to see that there is a group for Memphis area Moms? I live in Lakeland near Wolfchase @ I-40. My 18 year old daughter has made the decision to enlist in the Navy. She is in the beginning stages so I don't have her BC start date yet but I'm preparing myself starting now. I'd love to connect with other Memphis area Moms. Can someone tell me if this group does any meet-ups or if there are any planned activities or anything. Thanks! =0}
