Garden gal, my son is in YN A school now. He said they pushed his start date out to the beginning of February. I guess they are trying to fill the class. I've joined a few YN or Meridian A school groups and they all seem to be extremely quiet. Nothing like PIR Facebook groups.

The group here is pretty dormant.  There is a facebook group for moms of Meridian A school students. It has been pretty active at times in the recent pass, but it comes & goes

My son graduated from YN A school on Dec 2 so I may be able to help a little, or I can ask him.

By rate do you mean job? He is PS (personnel specialist). A lot of the groups on Facebook seem to be nonresponsive

My son is at Meridian for A school. He has a vehicle with him, but was previously at another base for A school so I am not sure if that is the reason he was allowed to have a vehicle. They should have an orientation where they learn the answers to most of these questions. Most of the priveleges are related to what "phase" they are in.

Rogers Mom, no I didn't see that one. Are you in the Facebook group for PIR 1/22/16? If so, they have posted quite a few on there. I'll keep looking for you.

Navymomof2, do you have a Facebook page you found for SH?

BlessedOne, what is your husbands rate? I found a few on Facebook?

My son graduated Friday also and is there. How long is your husband there for? It is my understanding no car until they are at their permanent base depending on length of school.
Comment by MarNavyMom on January 24, 2016 at 10:54am

Hi BlessedOne, This group is kind of non responsive. My son is stationed there and is not at A school so I probably will not be that helpful to you.  I think there is a facebook group for the people in A school in Meridian. My face group was very helpful.  Good Luck!
