I am new to this group...my SR who's PIR is 4-4 is shipping out to Meridian for AZ rating education. Hello Barb Mike. Hope you have heard from your Sailor.
My son arrived in Meridian this afternoon!!! Miss him already!!
He is probs on navy side then, I guess. AZ's are on Marine side, though I hear they are working to change that. Not sure if it will happen while my daughter is there. The room her and 2 mates moved into was complete pigsty. Prior Marine occupants must have had Chinese dinner before they left. There were dirty plates under blankets on beds, sauce spilled on desk, dysfunctional toilet, etc. And they had to buy supplies to clean all of this up! Should be room inspection prior to leaving, I think. Have seen lots of comments on how bored people are there, but my daughter says there is plenty to do for her. Guess it depends on where you come from and your expectations. How is it in LS world?
PAOLA, my daughter is waiting to class up for AZ. What is your son?
