DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Welcome Tattle!  I am from Rockford, north of GR.  We have get togethers all over the state.  It is hard to see them go, but like you said, he is living his dream.  We are here to help you.

Tattle I am in Charlevoix. Don't often comment but always follow what is going on. My son has been in for 3yrs and just returned from his 1st deployment in January.

Hello everyone... Tammy & I know each other and our boys ended up leaving at the same time.  It's funny, we live about 10 miles or so from one another and the boys didn't know each other as they went to different high schools.  Our son wasn't suppose to leave until June but the recruiter called and said it's time to go.  It gave us about 5 days to get everything together.  But as fate would have it, two local boys met and off they went!  Both riding high and livin the dream!
