Hey Denise, from West Michigan and my son is a Seabee in Gulfport, MS now. How is your son doing? Has he earned calls home yet?
Hi Jaz04, My SR is doing really well-seems to be getting the hang of things. We actually got a 45 minute call yesterday--was doing the HAPPY DANCE. His PIR is 12-03 counting the days. Found out though that he will be a gradngo, but will spend as much time with him as we can-have to get used to that. His bday is the 9th so we will celebrate that also. He will be going to A school at FLW for EA, then not sure. Mississippi would be closer for us to visit, and thats where he wants to go. So what is your sons rate? How long has he been in the Seabees/Navy?

Hi Denise, sorry for the lag in response, been away from N4M's awhile.  Steven has only been in since June of 2010.  He is a BU.  He finished A school in October, came home for 2 weeks and ECS in December with no visit home for the holidays :(  But lots of phone calls  He is in MNBC7 now, well actually waiting for them to reorganize.

Does your son have his phone now?  During A school, my son called everyday.

Wasn't PIR one of the most awesome moments to witness?

I hope all is well for you and your family.

Hey Jazz o4,  Not a problem, I haven't been on in a while either.  Danny was homwe for 2 weeks over the holidays and it was wonderful to have hime home.  The house was filled every night with boys and noise.  Can't believe how much I missed that.  Danny is at FLW right now for his enginerring training.  In his last call he said that he has a roomate now/EO from Michigan!!  Getting usedto being in the minority at FLW.  Said he can't wait to get to Mississippi.  He was glad that it looks like that's where hes going.   Maybe they will be in the same battalion.  Will keep checking the the site once in a while.  Do you go on the Seabee site?  Hope that your Steven is doing well and that you get to see him again soon.  We are thinking about going to the A school graduation if my husband can get off work.  If not we will go to Mississippi sometime this summer.  Are you planning a trip down there any time this year?  If so, maybe we can hook up...
