OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Military and Patriotic Graphics

There are so many great graphics out there that I thought it'd be fun to have a central area to share. Lets keep this as military graphics however.

It is VERY important to not modify graphics that have people's names on them that have designed the graphic. They have worked very very hard at making these and they deserve and many demand credit. I don't make graphics, I "steal" them from friends and I have several who make graphics and just love it. My idea is for us to spread patriotism, make the military feel good when we acknowledge them and to just have fun and feel good. I have completely lost track of where I've even gotten them I've gattered so many!

If you have graphics to share, go to the discussion forum and look for one of the "discussion" catagories and add them there. If you feel there isn't one that's appropriate for your graphic, feel free to start a new one. I'd like for others to share their graphics. If you put them in the comment area, it's great but as time goes on it will be harder to find and not as "organized".

I find it easiest to click on the little blue and green picture to upload say a photo. When you first click on it it shows the letters and symbols but when you actually finish it with add reply, it shows the picture. To save the picture, you right click and "save as" and I have a folder on my computer I've made for graphics.

If anyone at any time feels these graphics are not for our personal use, please let me know and I will delete them. I am not responsible however for any modifications or changes others make.

I made one for my boys. Except, where it says, "Proud Mom" I had, "Welcome Home Boys" I had it printed off, as a banner.......hung it above our front door. You girls are welcome to snag it
