For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Hola !!! Mi nombre es Mercedes, un saludo muy cariñoso a toda nuestra gran familia del navy. Mi hijo se graduo la semana pasada del BC, fue algo emocionante, ellos estaban felices!!! yo sabia que el mio se iba a demorar un poquito en encontrarse con nosotros asi que tuve tiempo de ver el encuentro de las familias con sus sailors, una locura, todos se parecian, aun se me salen las lagrimas, momentos inolvidables cargados de amor y orgullo tanto de ellos como de nosotros. Para los papa's que estan por ir a la graduacion les recomiendo q se hospeden cerca de la base, nosotros lo hicimos en Days Inn Great Lakes para garantizar llegar bien tempranito a la base el dia de la graduacion y puedan sentarse frente a la Div de sus muchachos y asi tomarles videos, fotos y tenerlos bien cerquita. Si piensan rentar carro haganlo ANTES x INTERNET para q les salga mucho mas economico, nosotros en un inicio pensamos movernos alli en Uber pues los precios x internet del aeropuerto de O Hare a la base estaban alrededor de 35$, o sea aceptables, pero al solicitarlo en el aeropuerto eran 50$ y ese por supuesto no era el unico Uber q ibamos a necesitar, asi q alli decidimos definitivamente rentar carro, la renta por 2 dias y 5 horas incluyendo seguro fueron 316 $ , y dijo el Sr que era lo mas economico que nos podia conseguir, nada q ver con las ofertas de la internet. Al final pudimos movernos ampliamente, fuimos al Navy Pier , eso es bello y el estaba feliz, vimos alli a muchos sailors de la graduacion, valio la pena, pues al dia siguiente viajaba para volver a estar sin salir durante otras semana mas. Que Dios proteja a nuestros hijos y los colme de fortaleza y salud para seguir adelante y nosotros junto a ellos .apoyandolos siempre, Disfrutemos a nuestros pequeňos gigantes orgullos de nuestras familias y de nuestro pais !!!!

Proudmom94, Felicidades a su hijo y toda su familia! La verdad que si es una bonita y emocionante experiencia la graduacion! Un momento de gran orgullo para nosotros y nuestros hijos/hijas que estuvieron trabajando muy duro durante varias semanas para acoplarse como un equipo y a la vida de la Navy. Les deceo todo lo mejor para su hijo y su familia y que Dios bendiga siempre a nuestros sailors y los guie en la proxima etapa con la Navy!
