For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

La unica opcion que el tiene seria esperar a que su tiempo de trasladarse venga (PRD) y 9 meses antes, escoger ordenes a los Estados Unidos. A menos que el este pasando por alguna situacion en la cual necesite estar en los Estados Unidos el Navy no podra cancelar las ordenes que tiene actualmente. Dejeme saber si tiene alguna otra pregunta.

¿Usted se refiere a la celebracion el dia antes de que su sailor vuelva de un deployment?

Si, le informan a los padres? como funciona

Bueno en realidad los que coordinan ese evento y todos los eventos familiares cuando un barco esta en deployment son los OMBUDSMAN. Usualmente la funcion de OMBUDSMAN la toman esposas de los sailors que estan en el barco. Ellos coordinan eventos y ayudan a los familiares de los sailors a mantenerse en contacto y a responder preguntas acerca del barco. Cada barco tiene personas asignadas para esa pocision de OMBUDSMAN y tambien tienen una linea de telefono designada para ellos. Los familiares pueden llamar a esa linea para hacer preguntas o muchas veces la linea tiene un mensaje pregrabado con informacion acerca de los proximos eventos que se realizaran. Al mismo tiempo los OMBUDSMAN tienen un email para responder preguntas. Si usted no tiene la informacion del OMBUDSMAN de su sailor yo podria buscarla si me da la informacion del barco. Si no tiene la informacion del barco yo podria encontrar a su sailor si me da su nombre completo y si es posible el rango. Cualquier otra pregunta me deja saber.
