I will see what I can do about sending some AT&T calling cards... Mary help me out here.. do I just send it to the address you have in your last post? No sailor names with the address.. just any sailor right?
With this program Joslinda, everything is sent to the one address that I posted and then it is distributed among those sailors that Billy represents. Thanks for your support!
I am hoping that I can get with my job about this.. though they have not been very supportive about my son going into the Navy.. it is worth a try..
Joslinda, it has to be addressed exactly as it was sent to inyour email. Everything has to be mailed in care of Salsbury. :) Any questions just ask and Molly and Mary can resend the info
I will get on this next Friday, Thank you Mary!!
Wonderful Jackie, thanks for your support!
I'm sure they would love getting those things and Floss would be great also. Sorry I"m not Mary, but an ex dental tech from the Navy.
Some of the troops really need those toothbrushes and toothpaste. Many of them have asked for Floss (smile Jackie!!). My understanding is if we address the box to Billy and then attention any sailor. It will be opened and distribute to the 46 Sailors in the group so I believe you can mix gender items in the same box.

Some of the things that they have often asked for include beef jerky, Crystal light that they can pour into their water bottles, hard card is really great in a desert. They would love dvds and magazines and anything to help them pass the time. Also read that many of the troops would welcome blank cards such as birthday, missing you, etc. as there are no Hallmark stores on the corner and they have no way of sending cards to their families. Also ATT phone cards were specified. Hope that helps some.
Wonderful MP, I was talking to a retired Army person yesterday and telling him what we are doing and he was stationed in Afganistan at one point and I thought he was going to cry.

He told me that we just couldn't possibly understand how very much our efforts mean to those stationed in areas like these. I came home and wrote another letter to our group!!!
We are so glad that you are with us Maria! I have a son and daughter and I just cannot even imagine our girls being stationed over there (so sorry, tad old fashion here!).

As large and wonderful as this group as become, I thought it would be wonderful to have a mix gender to support this month.
Oh Mary thank you Thank you ............. I just adore us navy moms ! Above and beyond the call of duty girl ........
I'm getting Colton to help send things to these sailors when he is here the next 2 weeks. I want him involved so that he can understand what we at home do and our thoughts and feelings behind it. I want him to leave home and start his navy journey knowing that there are many here in the US who support what he is doing.
And what better way to show that then to have him help with packages and letters to our sailors :)
How cool Molly. Tell him thank You for me!!
