What a great group to start out 2018 on! I'm in! I'll send some chips but will order through smile.amazon so they can pay for shipping those lightweight items and MAS gets a donation from ordering through them!
YOU GO GIRL!!! (Thanks Kim)
Morning Pat
I would love to send items to the sailors. How do I start the process? Do I give you the items or do I ship myself? My son is on the same carrier.. I just would love to show my support.
Sorry for the delay in replying.....we got a huge donation of items so been dragging it into my house and packing boxes!
You can mail yourself. Do you need info on how to pack and ship? Pat
yes can I please have the information. Also is there a place where I can drop off items in stead of me shipping them myself? I live around DeKalb area.
Hope everyone has had a great start to the new year. I will send a box of DVD's and how are we doing on pillowcases? Mom and I can send some.I also have cookies body wash and shampoo.
Thank you PaMom!! I will check with Kim about the Pillowcases!
We still need 64 pillowcases. How many can you do? I have a stash and can send the remainder.
I have a question, my son just got sent to the USS Theodore was there on the 12th, how do I get his address or to write or maybe even send a package to him? does he have to give me that information, and how do you go about mailing it to them. Very New to this first time deployment for him right out of A school. It is very hard even hearing from him to be able to get an address. Any comments would help thank You.
You will have to get his address from him. He can give you his box number. Some different groups also have different zip codes.
Do you have his email yet? If so, send him a message and request it.
When you do get his address, I can help you with information on sending a care package!
Pat
ok thank you so much, I haven't received any information yet from him. I'm hoping to get it soon.
Hi Pat, my question how does one's group go about getting adopted, like this is for Weapons Dept. what about the engineers dept. like EM's and so forth? My Son is on the Carrier but in the Engineers dept. and from what I have learned is there are at least 6 different depts. every 6 months they rotate to a different dept. Thank You pat?
