Is everyone getting ready to start shipping their package(s) to the USS Wayne E Meyer (DDG 108)?

mine's going out today , , , 4 pillowcases, misc snacks

Thank you Lynda!

Packing up my box today, not sure everything will fit in 1 with the pillowcases and red/white/blue decorations I found here and there.

Thank you to all who participated this month!  I know they will appreciate everything!

2 boxes of pillowcases for me--but 2 people at post office laughed at my definition of "flat."  3 more boxes of pillowcases from New Mexico sewing group.

Carol - that is great news!  It is great that 'we stitch love' was able to provide a pillowcase for everyone!!!

I mailed 3 boxes. They were stuffed with Oreos, candy, granola bars, crackers, a jar of Nutella, some Little Debbie oatmeal pies, drink mix and some red white & blue glow in the dark stuff.

Kim - Thanks so much!

We already received this (Tuesday) from our June Adoption.....

Marianne,
We just left Guam.  It was humid there, but it rained often.  I
had never been before this, so I enjoyed it.  While we were there we
started receiving boxes from Molly's Adopt a Sailor.  We received about
25 of them.  We put them out on the mess decks so that all of our
Sailors would have an opportunity to enjoy something from them.  Almost
everything was gone in about an hour.  Everything sent was very much
appreciated.  We will send some pictures as soon as we can figure out
how to get them from our camera to the computer network on the ship.
One of the most liked items was the patriotic pillow cases.  They were
one of the first things gone.  Thank you for all of the support for us
out here.  I hope you are enjoying your rainy day there, I love the
rain.

Please go on Facebook to Cornerstone Home Lending, Inc. and hit “Like” for my son (first entry since I can't put a name on here).  Thanks!  (Facebook.com/cornerstonehomelendinginc)  He is an EM on the USS Stennis.

I hit like!
