May is here and it's time for our May adoption.
Our group this month is a Black sea Rotational Task Force. They are a Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force, and yes, you guessed it, they are deployed in or around the Black Sea! They consist of 350 males and 5 females.
Our theme this month will be "baseball". Let's see if we can send some love and a little piece of home to brighten their day and their spirits. Be as creative as you like. Maybe you can add an item with your favorite team's MLB logo on it. Some ideas might be a baseball hat, water bottle, baseball cards/gum packs, etc.
So, let's get motivated Moms, and hit this one outta the ballpark!!!

I just made a donation via Paypal to mollysadoptasailor.com. I didn't put a note with it but it could be used for insoles or razors or whatever MAS feels it is needed for.
Thank you very much Kim! I'm sure Molly will put it to good use.
Oh Kim thank you so much ----------- I will post pictures asap of what we got
O.K. I do have 5 boxes total for the girls. Mostly it's the toiletries and other neccessities, but also a few snacks, gum, drink mixes, etc.
Okay, thanks so much!
I am so ready to pack my box--when, whammo--it hits me. I have not ordered boxes, and forgot to stop at the post office today. Guess I'll have to put it on my Tuesday "to do" list. At least I have the supplies to go in the box!
That's too funny...thanks for all your efforts!
You can always bring you stuff to the packing party this weekend. We will give you boxes...and a few hugs too!
ummm....I won't be able to attend your packing party. Kind of on my way to naval shipyards very sooooooon.
Countdown to our May shipping date.
Please remember our group and if you can't send a package, please send some letters to let them know you appreciate and support them.
Thanking you all for your dedication and your donations!!! You guys are the best!
Lorraine, I don't have a running total because so many of us are sending bulk boxes rather than individual ones. Also, there are at least 2 large packing parties that have not happened yet, and I expect that many boxes will come as a result of those. I have 15 bulk boxes of my own. I will post to see if ppl can let me know what they have. Thanks!
