Jingle Bells… Jingle Bells… Jingle and the way to the Crew of the

     USS RENTZ

3 Females and 240 Males Aboard

We are heading back to sea and sending out love out to the USS Rentz FFG 46.  They are currently assisting the Coast Guard performing drug enforcement off the coast of South America.  They are about midway of their eight-month deployment and ready for some love from home!

We would like to send each sailor a small VHS sized box filled and wrapped as a Christmas gift to be opened on Christmas morning.  If you pack them carefully you can fit eight of this smaller box in a large FPO box.  That is a total of 300 VHS boxes...  are you ready moms??

Pillowcases are a go!  They will have them set out for the guys to choose from on Christmas day.

Remember it is warm where they are- still in the 90 degree range every day!  So there is no need of warm hats or gloves for this group... even Santa will want to slip into his bathing suit for this delivery!

LOVE these! Thanks for sharing!!

Awesome!  So happy for you!   Hope I get one!

Kim…. that's for sharing this.  It made my day.

I'd like to share with you an email I received this morning.  It made my day. :)

Hello Donna,

Words cannot express the joy I felt we received your gift packages. Just in time for the holiday and the timing was perfect. I am currently deployed with the USS RENTZ FFG 46 in South America. All 201 personnel onboard received a package and were equally excited. We could see that a lot of thought, dedication and sacrifice went in the packaging of each box. Even though we will not be spending the holidays with our family and love ones its refreshing to know that there are others with kind hearts that are thinking about us. Have a great day! You can visit the ships Face book page to see the pictures of the crew receiving the package.

Very Respectfully,
XXXXX

UPDATE!!!! The USS Rentz pulled into port last night and were greeted by pallets of boxes waiting for them. One pallet had the Christmas Tree on top of it!

GREAT job mamas!

Merry Christmas USS Rentz from ALL YOUR MOMS!!

Just got goosebumps.  Yeah!!!!

Oh My! That bring tears to my eyes! Can't you just imagine the looks on their faces????? You think the guys went "Is that a Christmas Tree? A REAL Christmas Tree!!!!!" You know that just had to boost their morale up to the moon!!!!!

LOL ... talk about the USS Rentz being "Decked out".  Congrats Mom's!

Santa has arrived! I can feel the joy and couldn't be happier for them.

I just thought I would share in case you ladies didn't know - the USS Rentz has their own Facebook page and they seem to post LOTS of pics. I'm guessing after they get busy with our boxes they will post some pics (keeping fingers crossed).  So, I thought I'd post a link - hoping that is ok - of their Facebook page for those that want to follow it!

Here's my last attempt at asking.  Does anyone have a group shot of the this adoption from any sailor??  I know Susan's trying,  but just wanted to reach out in hopes that maybe someone was sent a Christmas photo of a group of sailors/

Last year Sheryl was so fortunate when she received an awesome group photo from her P.O.C.

Ps.  yes, I've checked out their Facebook page and there aren't any from Molly's packages yet

donna

Donna, I haven't seen anything and really surprised because the Rentz normally posts pics and I haven't seen anything on their facebook since before Christmas.  Hmmm...
