Moms/Dads/Families with Nukes in Ballston Spa, NY

Moms/Dads/Families with Nukes in Ballston Spa, NY

Wanted to start a group for moms, dads, and other family members that have Nukes currently attending Prototype in Ballston Spa, NY.

Thought I would start a group for the families of sailors stationed in NY for Prototype. It will be nice to chat about what is going on with our sailors whether it is good or bad so that we can support each other. I have connected with many people on this site but it is always nice to meet others that are going through the same things together. Also if you have had a sailor in NY for an extended amount of time then you can help the new ones just coming in on what to expect.

My son said its bad in Ballston Doa. I haven't talked to him today, but he went from playing in the snow with his 4x4 to careful driving and staying warm. Safe travels to your sailor!

Man I see NY is getting hammered with bad weather.  Our sailor flies out of CA next Friday (1/10) back to Philly....from there he meets up with one of his roommates and then on Saturday they drive to NY.....I sure hope the weather holds!  They have to muster on 1/13.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

My son is cold in BS as most are. I texted with him this morning, and he is bracing for a long week. He did admit that he enjoyed going out and playing in the snow with his 4x4!

PattiP - I do remember you mentioning that now!  I hope this time the TC has everything in order so they can all test.....Good Luck to all of them - keep us updated ;-)

Here's a picture of me & my boys from Christmas and then out shooting the other day!

Congrats, PattP! Nice feather in your son's cap. Well done and enjoy having your son stateside for just a little longer.

Hope everyone has a Happy New Year!  I'm looking forward to 2014 and being a bigger part of this group as my sailor starts prototype......Stay safe!

Boy - been watching the weather in BS - all I have to say is YIKES!  My sailor is going to freeze when he gets there LOL!  He's home now and it's been mid/upper 70's and even low 80's here....
