Thought I would start a group for the families of sailors stationed in NY for Prototype. It will be nice to chat about what is going on with our sailors whether it is good or bad so that we can support each other. I have connected with many people on this site but it is always nice to meet others that are going through the same things together. Also if you have had a sailor in NY for an extended amount of time then you can help the new ones just coming in on what to expect.

brr I'm cold just looking at those pictures. We are suppose to get snow starting in morning very minimal amounts and the first flake isn't suppose to fall until the morning and here in Virginia they are closing schools already. Last year we had a total of 13 inches for the whole year and missed 13 days of school. No bread milk eggs in store
Love that MichianaMom!
Good idea with the life jacket - you just never know ;-)
Couple inches, nothing. How about 4+ and that is just today on top of all of that they already had. Will be headed out of here tomorrow as soon as we can get packed and on the road and heading to the USS Nimitz (okay, my son is, I'm just helping drive his car across the big ole' US).
I'm definitely keeping them in business Wendy! I don't even know what color my hair really is anymore LOL!
