Christi and Chris, thanks for the holiday info - something to look forward to!

Chris, I wonder if our two boys will graduate together? Shawn says he's a week behind Greg. He actually started FRAC a week after Greg. Since there is only 3 guys per class....I wonder if they will consolidate the graduations. That would be really cool if they do graduate together. I would really love to meet you since we've been through the same thing together with our boys at the same time.

Kari, Do you know how many they graduate FRAC at the same time?

Texas Mom of 2- When my son was in Pensacola, he had just finished RSS, I think, and was able to come home for Christmas, that was great. At the end of March this year, he was preparing to leave for San Diego again and I wanted to see him before he went since he was closer to me here in Tennesse than he would be once he went to SD. I was able to drive down to Pensacola to visit him and yes he had the weekend free and was able to stay with me at the hotel. It was great, he showed us the sights of P'Cola. We had a great time. I haven't seen him since then and boy do I miss him. Looks like I will be going to San Diego in October for FRAC graduation. Can't wait!

Okay, once again, I'm thinking ahead......with my son's PIR on Sept 3 - will he be able to come home for Christmas? And when does he get leave time? Also, will I be able to go visit him in Pennsacola - is he free on weekends?

Yikes, phone call......yes, I need to send another one. Thanks for the reminder. Chris, I'm proud to say that I've now joined the TBC - telephone bathroom club!

Hehehe, my cell phone and I have become "one." It even goes to the bathroom with me............too much information, I know. :o)

Hi guys! I think phone calls are dependent on their RDC's. There are other divisions there that have already had one or two phone calls by the time I received this one so I don't know for sure how it works....it wasn't his cell phone as it came back home.

I know that my son said this last phone call was a "planned" one and then for me to expect another one coming up soon due to them having the highest scores out of 17 divisions - at that time. If their division stays on track, they will be an honors division. His mood is really really good and I'm so pleased.

Kari, you're so sweet - I know this means a lot to him. In fact, all of what you guys say does. I recently printed and sent what you guys said about INDOC.

LOL, grass guard??!! I'll bet he felt empowered! Sept 3 is getting closer - feels like it's been forever...he called last night - yay! We had a 30 min conversation - very nice one. His favorite part of the day is swimming - says they do relays and he's the anchor? Guess that's the last one to swim out of his team? His least favorite part of the day is waking up - LOL! He's never been a person to wake up fast - he slowly comes out of it........not at Boot Camp!
