Anna, I will definitely keep your daughter in my prayers!

Today we are having cold damp again. But at least I don't have to worry about shoveling this!! Sorry Blondie and Joanne that you are forecasted for more snow.

Asking for prayers for daughter Jennifer again. Tomorrow she is scheduled to go back up to Cleveland to retake the aviation test for the officer program. She passed it the last time but really needs to get a higher score if she wants to compete with all the other applicants that want the pilot program. Of course, once again, it comes on the same day as they are predicting snow up there so I worry about her driving in bad weather. She has read, reviewed, and studied even more this time around, so I just ask that you pray she gets a really good score this time around!!!!

Hope everyone else is having a good day. Stay safe and warm - Blondie don't do too much shoveling at work. Maybe your dr should look into hiring someone to keep sidewalks and parking lot cleaned for her patients. That should be her responsibility!!!

Joanne,
Glad you got to hear from her!! I'm with you - I am glad my daughter has found a nice young man to be with. They haven't set a wedding date yet because he is deployed so much on his sub. But that's ok - gives everyone time to save up some money!!!

Pat,
You know you can always vent here - and remind us to keep Jenn in our prayers. I don't agree with her statement about demanding something from those that outrank you, but it does take some big "manly body parts" to be able to pull it off. And of course it has to be done respectfully. If she is in pain someone needs to step up and advocate for her. Maybe someone in her command if she is having difficulty doing her job because of the headaches. But from what you have told us about her - I can see her just dealing with it on her own and not even complaining at work!!!

Hope everyone is having a nice Valentine's Day. Hubby is taking me out for an early dinner at Red Lobster!!!!

Pat, I'm so sorry Jenn is not improving. I can imagine how hard this is for both of you.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY! May you have a pleasant peaceful day.

Pat,
What a bunch of bs your girl is having to put up with. Now we can understand why there are laws against military personnel being allowed to sue the government for medical malpractice....... because there would be so many cases the government would definately go broke!!! Sometimes you have to wonder who they report to!!!
I am so sorry this is still such a problem for her!!!

Wade,
I hear you guys got more snow there in GA than we got in NC. We only had about 2 inches and most of it is melted now. They are calling for really cold temps tonight so where there is melted runoff we could have ice tomorrow. Hope drivers are just really careful. So sorry you have a job that doesn't value it's employees more!! Please be careful out there!!

Joanne,
It stinks when we come in second fiddle to the boyfriends doesn't it??!! But I'm glad your daughter is getting some visit time from her sweetie. I hope he has the mom seal of approval??!!

Blondie,
Wish I had an answer for you to handle the job yet keep your health!! Sending up prayers for you my friend!!

How are you Pat? How is Jenn? Any medical news (or miracles) for our sweet girl??
Comment by Anna on February 12, 2010 at 11:56pm

I started watching but hubby switched to something else!!
