I just had the funniest phone call as I was typing my last comment. Daughter in WA calls and wants to know if I have my computer nearby. Needs me to look up a business in Silverdale as she's driving around lost trying to find this place. I find the place on the map and am giving her directions sitting here in NC!!! Hubby's sitting beside me saying opps, I'm lost - let me call North Carolina!!!!!!

Hope everyone else is having a nice Sunday!! DC - is your blood pressure getting better or won't you know until tomorrow? Hope the dr gets you some answers.

Pat,
I'm with you - don't know why they start it so late. Don't know if we're going to watch the whole game or not. Depends if it's a good game or lopsided.

Catherine,
Wow - I hope you have help digging out of that mess. Haven't heard from son or dil in MD all day yesterday. His brother tried calling him and didn't get an answer. Hope we hear from them today. We have sunny but cold weather, luckily everything is drying up. Still some piles of snow here and there.

Joanne, I haven't received an e-mail from you for some time ... more than a month ago. Will Kasey go through Bangor?

DC,
That is a good question!! As the tech explained to me, after referring with the doctor that read the mammo and the ultrasound, it is an evenly rounded node. She said if it was irregular shaped then they would suggest further testing.

Heading out with hubby - will check in later tonight if not too late!!

Have a great day everyone!!

Anna, I am glad that the doctors feel the lump is not of worry. I have an idle question ... how can the doctor tell with a mammogram and ultrasound that it is a benign lymph node? I can understand knowing that it is an enlarged lymph node but not that it is benign. Please keep an eye on it.

Joanne, we have beautiful sunshine. The temperature is in single digit but no snow. Talked to my brother in Maryland and he is still getting snow ... over foot on the ground. Talked to my SIL in Virginia and she had 30 inches when she last measured. We kid them and say they should move up north. We have less snow.

Blondie, I think my BP problem is the result of changing med doses. I was on BP medicine but was put on a beta blocker and taken off BP medication when I developed ventricular tachycardia. I had it zapped, which took care of most of it. Developed atrial fibrillation last year and had to go on an arrhythmia med. At the time the cardiologist also lowered the beta blocker. Since then the BP has been slowly creeping up. I called yesterday and talked to his secretary. He did not get back to me. So Monday I will call again. I figure I will call every day until I find out what we are going to do about it. I have my old BP med but I won't self medicate. Not wise. But then high BP is not wise.

Pat,
Sorry I can't help you. Left my carpet shampooer in Ohio!! I don't think Hagerstown is getting any more snow. Seems to have plowed through DC and Baltimore area, heading into DE and Jersey. They are getting hammered.
I looked out my window about an hour ago and saw snow flakes flittering outside. Nothing even hitting the ground!! I like it like that!!

Joanne,
Sorry her flight back is delayed. I'm sure they are all disappointed also. Was the cancelled flight weather related??

Thanks for all the well wishes. I'm glad that is all over with. Now to finish paying all the bills!!!!

My oldest son and dil are buried in snow in Hagerstown, MD. Talked to them last night - haven't heard anything from them yet today. At least it hit on a Friday and no one has to worry about getting to work. Jeff works in DC - he might not be going to work on Monday!!!
I think the last of the snow and ice are gone here now. We had a ton of rain but we are above freezing now so it should be ok.

Joanne,
Glad you won some $ last night. Keeps your wine cellar well stocked??? Will you be able to visit with Kasey anytime soon??

Wow Pat,
Clean closets and shampooed rugs!! Getting ready for company??? :)

We just have tons of rain in my part of NC. Just north of the city is snow & slush. Lots of accidents on the roads here - people just don't know how to drive in bad weather. Altho' yesterday morning there were several accidents caused by black ice. All this thawing during the day then it freezes overnight. Bad stuff. I'm glad I don't have to go out.
Had my follow up mammo today and an ultrasound. Was told it's a benign lymph node. Didn't even know we had lymph nodes in the breasts. But I guess there isn't anything more I need to do.

You can vote again today for the HAE pillowcases, option R. Sue still needs more votes.
