Dori,
So sorry to hear about V's problems also. So many of our Moms and Daughters are going through challenging things. I am glad we are all here to help each other.

Raineegal,
Thank you for putting those up. I'd like to find one I saw on another friend's page and add it there.

God bless our sailors!!!!

Lisa,
Your previous post just broke my heart. I am so sorry your relationship with your daughter is strained right now. I will pray for her and you that you two find your way back to each other.

Pat,
I'm glad they have someone else looking at Jenn now. Sorry she is having so many tests tomorrow but I'm praying an answer comes out of all of it.

I love all the comfort and support we give to each other. This is such an awesome group of moms. And I like the quotes. Raineegal, maybe you'd like to put some of those in a discussion up on top. It would be a good place that we could refer back to and not loose them in the general comments section. Just a thought!!

Good evening ladies and welcome militarymomof3. I am so glad you found us here. I have two serving - my son is doing a second round of a 4 year enlistment. He got out and then went back in. He's an IS in Fallon, NV. My daughter is a PS in Kitsap, WA. I have two other children, one (my sailor's twin sister) is in college in Ohio and my oldest son is in MD. I'm interested in the new rating LS that your daughter is in. My daughter's rating is so overmanned they are being recommended to change rates. Is LS overmanned or is it pretty open?

Lisa - my heart is breaking fo you. I was so worried when you didn't return my text earlier. You know I am here for you just as you have been there for me and mind these past weeks. Together along with all our mom friends we will make it through BC to see shiny new sailors and daughters. Older, wiser and more mature. Love you babe hang in there.

Ok here after catching up on all 4 pages. Actually you girls are slowing down today. Yesterday it was 18 pages by the time I got home from work.
Pat - Ready to kick butt. Just say when and where. I am comfortable with the medical profession as I work with medically fragile student daily for a school district.
Kristen - Let us know where else a little tough love is needed. These guys don't know who they're messing with.

Well - - after having a nice glass of wine last night I went to bed a little early and completely missed the PARTY!! Still catching up on all the posts from last night but wanted to stop in and say hello.

Pat,
So sorry they haven't given you or Jenn any real news. But with these other tests maybe we can still here something soon? Poor Jenn is probably feeling like a pin cushion by now. Or a lab rat??!!! :)

Raineegle,
Now is there a glimmer that things might work out for your daughter medically and she could enlist again at a later date. It's a shame she had a bad recruiter. Sometimes that happens and it's a shame that it still happens!! Stay with us and keep us posted ok?

Kristen,
So when are we heading to Guam to fix things for your daughter??!!!! I'll help hold that HM1 while you set him straight!!!

I do want to share some good news and didn't want to mention it last night since so many moms were in need of comfort and support. But I just made my reservations - - - I am going to visit my daughter in WA this November!!! I am so excited and can't wait to see her. Hubby and I were hoping we could go out together but that just isn't going to work. I'll be there for a week!!! I will be there the day after her one year anniversary there!!! Did I mention I can't wait to see her?!!!
