NavyMomXXXY,
Yes you are in the right place!! Glad you found us!

Pat,
I must have missed something in your past - did you used to live in NE Ohio?
I read your post and couldn't believe what I was seeing - - I used to live in Concord and drove RT 2 into Euclid to go to work everyday. Are we talking the same place????

Dori,
I will look into your suggestion - this is all so new to me so please be patient. I'm waiting for word back from Admin on a couple other topics, also. Can you tell me what group has that so I can go check it out?

Pat,
I agree with your frustrations about our sailors taking the test, passing it but not getting their advancement. Catherine is a PS and that rate is also so overmanned. You're right - with the economy the way it is people are staying in longer making in tougher for new ones to move up.

Dori,
I'm so glad you found us - I don't know why the group wouldn't have come up on a search. Let hope that doesn't continue to happen.

I'm glad everyone is finding their way here!!

Pat,
I will be sending up many prayers for your daughter that the doctors can find out what made this come back and can get her completely recovered. Please keep us posted.

I'm also saying a prayer for my daughter today - she is taking the advancement test for E4. She passed the last one but was not advanced. Are any other of our sailors taking the test today?
My son is also taking the one for E5 but not sure if that is on the same day.

It is so wonderful to see all of you here - I'm glad you found it!!! I can use all your help getting the word out that the daughters group is still alive and well. If you remember someone who was on before, let's send them a message and show them the way here!!!!! I am so new to this I'm not sure how some things work so I'm trying to learn fast!

Kristine,
Congratulations on your new sailor!!! Enjoy going to PIR and spending time with your daughter. When they call out "dismissed" at the end of the ceremony and everyone rushes to their loved ones the excitement is unbelievable!!! Yes, have lots of tissues!!!
