Blondie, hope you feel better soon. I got an upper respiratory on October 20 and finally, after 3 doctor visits 1 Zpack, 2 cortisone shots, one injected antibiotic and one course of Levaquin think I may be starting to feel better. Keep after it if you're not better soon.

Good Evening to Everyone.
Blondie, she is back to her very busy self. Was sick for 3 days though. She was very miserable. Glad she is feeling better.

Good Morning Everyone. I hope you had a great Christmas!

Jean I hope your daughter is feeling better.

Its been going good here. Daddy helped our Sailor buy her first car! She was so excited.

The weather has been crazy. Its been in the 80's here in South Texas but now we are about to get some nasty weather. I know the east and west of us has already got it.

Well While we had everyone together We went and got Family Pics!!

I hope everyone has a great day!

Good Evening to Everyone. Merry Christmas. Poor Aurora ended up sick today. She was running a 101fever. All she wanted to do is cuddle with her mom and sleep. She did open her presents but really wasn't interested in playing with them. I'm hoping my son and I didn't get her sick. We took her to downtown on Christmas Eve and it was very cold. I'll find away to send pictures of our out yesterday. I have her sitting on the famous pig of Pike Place Market.

Merry Christmas my Navy sisters, hope it was a joyful day. My girl is home with my precious grandson. He is getting so big. He is 5 months old now. I have been in a funk since my niece passed. They have helped bring me out of it.
Love the pictures, have missed all of you! Hugs to all of you.

JayDee,

How cool!!  Thanks for that update - wasn't sure if they still had the group.  Hope your husband gets home to celebrate with all your family, especially the sailor!!!

Enjoy your day Jean!!!

Merry Christmas Anna! My daughter is an E3 fireman novice. We're getting all the last minute things ready. Church at 7:00 (my daughter will wear her dress blues which will delight the folks in our little church) . Tomorrow with my husbands family - we hope. With all the bad weather my husband is on standby and he's already mentally moving on. Hopefully he'll be assigned near here.
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas!

First I want to wish each and every one of you a very Merry Christmas!!!  For those of you who have your sailors home please give them a BIG NavyMom hug from me.  For all of our sailors home and away, please tell them how much I appreciate their service and sacrifice and how proud I am to have them carry on the Navy tradition!!!!

JayDee,

Beautiful pictures of your sailor with her puppy.  I'm sure he/she loves having your girl back home!!!  And I love the picture of your brother.  During that time frame the 3 red stripes would stand for an E3 within the fireman group (like green is for aviation and white is for general). I'm not sure if they use that grouping anymore.  Love your brother's curly hair!!!!!

Oleander,

So sorry you were sick!!  I hope you are getting better and stay healthy!!!!

hellraiser,

What a surprise!!!  I get teary eyed just thinking of the scene!!!  There was one year when someone rang our doorbell just before hubby, daughters, and I were ready to leave for midnight mass.  I figured some last package being delivered, but there stood my son in dress uniform!!!  Sweet tears of joy!!!!!

We got back from our wonderful, short trip to PA!!  Yesterday we decorated a live Christmas tree in our little trailer!!!  With air conditioners running!!!!  Record breaking warmth here in Jacksonville!!!!  Doing just a bit of Christmas goodies now before midnight mass tonight.

Blondie - those are beautiful photos, thank you.

My Aunt sent me some pictures in the mail the other day.  Included was a picture of my brother while he was home after being injured in Vietnam.  My daughter quickly pointed out that he has the same boot camp during time of war ribbon and the same three red strips on his sleeve (yeah I'm sure there's a term for that but it eludes me now).  Here's the picture, he's sitting next to our grandpa.  I just thought it was really neat.
