Good Morning to Everyone.
Well we all made it through Monday and we're one day closer to the weekend.

Anna I have been reading of some of your travels. Because we knew that we wanted to camp in national and state parks we found a short 33' Fleetwood Excursion Class A deisel pusher. We tow a Jeep Liberty. Still practice camping to see what our needs are. Our second trip in it was to GL for PIR in July. Getting through the tow booths made me hold my breath. I decided if we could navigate that thing through Chicago we could go most anywhere. Hubby Is a Veteran and we stayed in the base campground at GL. We hope to stay in other military campgrounds during our travels. Traveling on a budget.

Just received my daughter's package today. FedEx tried to deliver it on Friday, but no one was home. Still anxiously awaiting the form letter to find out her PIR date. Is there usually a personal note from the SR or just the form letter?

Amanda'smom, love the idea of writing notes on little dresses. Vickyrun, great pics!

Good night all.

Vickyrun,

Love the pics!!!  So sad to hear about the losses of life in that fire.  So glad the community could all come together!!

bbcregular,

Awww your plans have a special place in my heart.  How long is your motor home?  Don't know if you've read about it but my hubby retired and he and I have been traveling the country in a 40ft 5th wheel.  Monterrey and the area around there is absolutely beautiful.  We were told not to attempt to take our trailer up the coast in that region because the turns on 1 are too tight for a long vehicle.  But we did get to visit that area years ago.  We are spending this winter in Jacksonville, FL!!!  We could swap some stories!!!!!

Amandas Mom,

What a cute idea to put the messages on little dresses!!!  I'm sure she'll love those!!

Oleander,

Oh I have some windows you could tackle!!!!!  I'll provide the ladder!!!  ha ha

Please keep my son and his family in your prayers.  Tomorrow they leave for Hawaii!!!  I'm excited for them but I feel like they are going so far away.  Like bbcregular said, can't exactly take the trailer over for a visit!!!  Chris's biggest worry is the 9 1/2 hour flight for his little girl and his wonderful wife who gets motion sickness and hates flying!!!!

Have a great week everyone!!!!

She got all glammed up!

Hi all, Good afternoon, Jean,

Don't worry, after BC they will still be girls. More mature girls, women! My daughter is into girly girl stuff. She likes to dress up when not in uniform. Her and husband went to the  Khaki Ball.

Good morning all.. well made it thru my first weekend without my little girl.. Shawna mine also left Sept 22 to boot camp on Sept 22. I've started writing her letters and also writing her inspirational and encouraging quotes on these little cards shaped like dresses, she is a little girly girl inside. I'm glad i found this group, i love reading such great stories and surely can relate to a lot of them. I miss her every moment.. Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Good Morning to Everyone.
While the weekend went by fast. Only 4 more day left and the weekend will be here. I'm going to be spending this week at my daughters babysitting there dogs while they are away. Which means I'm going to be taking different buses to work. Hopefully I'll do it right. LOL

Shawna her rating is CTI. I also have to look up most of the meanings of the military alphabet soup talk.
