Good Morning to Everyone.
8isenuff, Prayers to your daughter and love that joke.
Jappy, Hugs to you. I know what it is like to not have your daughter around after a long time home. The ship life is very busy and hopefully she will get time to call soon.
Blondie, I am glad that the great thaw hasn't done it all in one shot. Sorry about winter coming back.Hopefully it won't be so bad. We are back to sort of rain with clouds. But not enough to stop the drought from happening. It will be a long summer this year.
8isenuff...prayers going out for our girl!
Jappy, thinking of you ((HUGS))
Blondie, yay on the dress makes it feel real now, right?!
Jean, best of luck with the new job I know how much you're looking forward to this one being done!!
Catsmom, sorry just saw all the posts I will def try to post of pic of you and Anna!
Hi everyone!
It's been a rough few days my daughter left Norfolk on Friday for her ship and it was hard. It was nice having her so close since September. I haven't really heard from her just to say she arrived and has been busy and tired.
can't believe how much I miss her
Hi ladies,
I don't post often, but I read everything, and certainly enjoy the pictures and your stories. Our girls are pretty darn amazing, aren't they? Blondie, you are not too terribly far away from me. I have an uncle who lives in your area. :-)
My daughter is going through some tough schooling right now. This is the third leg of her training to be a nuke. She is struggling, and I would really appreciate any prayers on her behalf. She is an MM. The training is mentally challenging. She has to learn a bunch a stuff about certain topics, and then go and explain what she has learned about that subject to a staff instructor--if she can find one. Then she gets a "check-off" and a certain amount of points. She needs a set amount of points a week, and she is way behind. It is very stressful. She has started to lose her hair again.
In honor of St. Patrick, here is my funny for the day:
What do you get when you cross poison ivy with a four-leaf clover?
A rash of good luck! :-)
Hope everyone enjoyed their day!
Happy St. Patty's Day, Chrissy and her shipmates are in Savannah, GA for the big parade. Aaron got to go to.
Good Morning to Everyone.
Happy St. Patrick's Day to everyone.
Don't forget to wear green. Don't want anyone to get pinched.
