Hey everyone - I heard from Anna.  She said she's on the mend but it's taking it's sweet time.  Some things she can do no problem & others not so much....she said sleeping at night is a fail.  I told her everyone here was good and sent her prayers for healing and navy mom hugs!

Blondie you are more woman than I am. Just a word of love, take care of you, especially those meds. I have had problems saying no. It actually makes my stomach and chest hurt when I have to say no. A wise friend recommended that I read a book titled Boundries by Dr Cloud & Dr Townsend. It helped me began a healthier way to say no.

Anna just want you to know I am thinking of you and still praying for success and recovery.

Mia so glad you heard from your girl. All those calls are so precious. Thank you for praying.

too much info for me to process right now, just won't use my phone LOL.  I have a S8 I think, what's that????

after Joe was delayed by a week, because his team was going out on a maneuver...(.they yanked him out of a training to fly him to join his team)....he got back and his civilian flight had bad weather, couldn't land,  reverted, ground crew problems, finally landed then connecting flight was canceled because of weather.....what a mess.

10 days ago,  daughter decided to stay with us till he got back, (I had a 3 day weekend could have taken her home) so this weekend with all the delays and cancelations she decides she wants to go home.  well Tahlia has a doctor's appointment today and daughter already missed 1 week of classes for her bachelor's degree..... so Needs to have her butt in that chair!

So Midnight Friday (Saturday morning) we decided we're gonna load them up and head south.  Saturday morning we loaded my van and her car with 2 dogs and all their stuff . leaving behind dirty diapers (she uses cloth)  and anything else she could live without for a week. forgot her frozen breast milk, not sure how I'll send that too her.  Stopped in WV Saturday night for the night.  Sunday morning Joe and a friend showed up at hotel, we unloaded my van into their Subaru and off we all went in different directions. So as always life goes on, a little crazy at our house but all the same.  got home sunday night, did 4 laundry loads and took a bath.  finally shaved my legs!

this week is getting Jack groomed, needs a hair cut bad!  That's tonight and since we had to cancel this weekend, my sister and BIL are coming over after work tonight.  thur. I have 2 doctor's appointments that I've been putting off, out of heart meds. and BP meds. stupid I know but you'd have to understand my work and family schedules.  And I have to work the whole weekend and get my taxes done.  Hoping to get vacumn fixed and get my house clean!

Hope everyone has heard from their sailors and all our safe. Hugs

My daughter told us today from boot camp that she has watched multiple young ladies either sent back to a later division or sent home for failing a test. My heart goes out to all those young ladies, and to their families. I cannot imagine how crushing this must be for some of them. If you are one of those moms, I'm praying for you too.

Hi MalsMom,My daughter had PIR last August. She too had her contacts sent home, with her clothes etc.I can't remember if she told me in a call or in a letter, but she did tell me when I could send her a pair of contacts. She definitely had them for PIR.I'm unsure if she had them for pictures,or if she just went without glasses for the photo.Good luck to her!
