Blondie,

Is it just this group that gives you problems when you use your phone to post??

JayDee,

Hope your injections help you stave off surgery for awhile!!!  I'm afraid my latest x-ray from this doctor showed that my knee had worsened and there was absolutely no space between the bones.  I think that's why he scheduled the surgery a week later!!!!  Wish the VA would have moved this quickly!!!!!

Comment by Blondie on February 27, 2018 at 12:56pm

if it helps, I can post from my phone to other groups on this site.  very strange. :(

Thanks Anna, I am in "desktop" mode.  I've told our mutual friend and there's another lady on our group that's having a similar issue.

Good luck tomorrow with the knee.  I just finished the last gel injection in a series of 3.  The first injection included a PRP shot.  Still a little sore, but hoping things will improve.

BSunshine,

Thank you!!  I can use all the prayers!!!  Good luck on that new MIL status!!!! Congratulations to your son and DIL!!!

Ladies,

I heard from a couple other moms who are also having some problems but what they said was to be in "desktop" mode.  Hope that helps!!!

bbcregular,

I so understand your MIL predicament!!!  I've had to hold my tongue so many times I'm surprised it still works!!!  Unfortunately my daughters marriage didn't work out as far as SIL was concerned so I sure can't help in the MIL field!!!!! I will say tho that from a Navy perspective if a sailor can get to live off base cause they're married, it's extra money in their paycheck.  Of course then they have to weigh the extra pay against how much they are paying in rent, but I understand why so many young sailors do that.  Heck, I got to do that when I was a young sailor but I wasn't married!!!  Didn't even know my hubby then!!!  It was just so nice to get out of the barracks!!!!  I'm so glad that you can feel the love and support from the other moms here!!  We really do have each other's backs!!!!

SailorsLIMom,

Yes, separations can work if both parties are willing to work together!!!  So happy that things worked out for your family!!  Sometimes those kinds of stressors can make people stronger!!!!

JayDee,

I got such a chuckle from your post about your daughter getting published!!!!  I read a college paper Jenn did that was required for graduation with honors.  I didn't understand one thing about it!!!  And there were no pictures, just charts, and those didn't make sense either!!!!  Congratulations to your daughter!!!  Smart genes must have come from one of her parents!!!!!

MalsMom,

I hope the bootcamp time continues to go quickly for you and I'm so glad that you also are feeling the love and support from the other Moms here.  These ladies really are the greatest!!! Do not hesitate to ask any of us if there is something you want to know!!!!

Sorry you ladies are having problems posting from your phones.  I will send a message to admins to see if they know something.  JayDee, if you don't mind could you check with our mutual friend for me??????  She seems to have that magic touch!!!!

bbcregular I don't think it's your phone as mine is a problem too.  I think it's this site.

I'm not any good at the "shut up" part, just ask anyone who knows me well.

Comment by SailorsLIMom on February 26, 2018 at 2:02pm

Yes, the "shutting up" part is the hardest esp for MILs!

Hi everyone!

It has been one week since my daughter left for RTC.  Can't wait to receive the box.  It has been such a blessing to see all the information from Moms who have been there before!

Comment by bbcregular on February 26, 2018 at 1:50pm

Yea, it worked.  Now to find out what is wrong with my phone.
