Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!
Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!
Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Happy Friday everyone!
Fantastic pics JayDee!!! Wow - what an adventure! My girl has the middle rack - she said the 1st time she rolled over she hit her head on the bunk above her. tight quarters! But she also says the rocking of the ship helps her get the best sleep ever - except when they're in stormy seas of course! That welcome home pic is worth 1,000 words!
Congratulations to all those who are having PIR today! Very exciting!
Heard from my girl this morning! Only on text but I'll take it! She sounds great and got the chance for a couple days of R&R.
How's our girl Anna? Sending prayers for safety for her and all our sailors.

Great pic JayDee659! I'd hate to be on the bottom. I'd want to be in the middle or top. I bet they hate snoring ones or hopefully they didn't get stuck with someone with a stomach problem and smell roses (not) all night. They're kind of packed in there.

Hey everyone!! I'm the proud mama of a SR that left Aug 14th & PIR is Oct 6th. She's in Ship 03 Div 319. She has a twin sister who is leaving for Army Basic Aug 29th. I'm so glad to be a member of this group!

Your experience sounds like mine - I didn't know about this website until my daughter finished bootcamp!! It's hard to believe that this website has only been around since 2008!!!

SCSunshine777, yes I did and it was like a side open coffin. I slept very well, the gentle swaying of the ship was awesome. They apparently had a "flyback" team that left from their last port call and then some others got off where we were picked up.
