And the Angels don't want to play the sox who we have lost to 4 times during playoffs. Did we get a vote NO!!!!

They just tied it up with the Twins. 2 -2 bottom of the 4th. My recruit Daughter is a big Yankees fan so I will send her updates. Maybe KR would just rather the Dodgers play the Red Sox because they are more beatable than the Angels.

And KR what about that California support. And yes the Dodgers/ Cardinals play tonight but the Angels/Red Sox game starts tomorrow night. Maybe I should start rooting for the Cardinals? Actually if David Ecstein was still there instead of San Diego I would. Sorry tough day.

Ladies -Got a call from my daughter at work today. It was a tough phone call. Yes she was calling for business purposes for her security clearances. But I made the mistake of asking if she was ok. She has been there for 2 weeks and hasn't gotten mail privilages yet. They are supposed to get mail next Sunday, and I know that she will have a whole stack since I have been sending stuff for more than a week. She said that she isn't sleeping through the night either, so I am sure the lack of sleep is contributing to the depression. It was just so hard to hear the break in her voice when she was talking.

Pat, I am so sorry Jenn doesn't have a definitive answer. I have had problems with diagnoses and it s so frustrating. Raineegal is right ... steroids ae good news/ bad news. I have been on prednisone for over four years. We have reduced it significantly but not totally. I don't think I would be able to walk without it.

Joanne, I agree ... Puffy is adorable!! Very clever idea JM. Your daugher will love it.

KR, my husband is really ready to get his knee replaced. He has had bone on bone for over a year and it really bothers him a lot. The ortho has tried everything.

KR, I agree, it would be good if Jenn can get a second opinion from a really good eye/neurology center. Even then there is no guarantee but it may make the difference. When I first began to get sick, my doctor was bumbling along. When I finally got in to see a rheumatologist, she immediately diagnosed the polymyalgia rheumatica. Now the lymphoma took a year to diagnose at Dana Farber in Boston.

Raineegal ... bad thought ... the Navy is flying her back and not sending her via bus?? I have heard that bus is the mode of travel frequently for recruits who are being released. Please double check.

Pat, I fell asleep during NCIS. Thank goodness it is recorded. I've just been catchng up.

Anna, take care of yourself. Standing on your feet is hard.

JM,
I meant to tell you how much of a chuckle I got from your pictures of Puffy. I loved the one with the letter and his little hat. How cute!!! Are you printing these pics and sending them to your girl???
Comment by Anna on October 6, 2009 at 9:08pm
I'm afraid my costume wearing days are over!! I'd have to go with the white sheet over my head!! It is interesting but sometimes I feel like I am WAY out of my league!! This place is open year-round so they have many rental costumes also but someone will come in and ask for ideas and I'm like - no clue!!!!
