Dang it's COLD!  was in the negatives, hit a high of 11 today but with the wind chill still feels like -14.  Tomorrow suppose to hit 13 but tonight negatives again.  Yes, I got my coveralls out, parka, boots, scarf, gloves can barely move.  LOL

Happy New Year.

Was a weird drive to work this morning, I'm the only one in our village working today.  I had to come in to do weeklies, month-ends and year-ends. ( What a mess!)  it was foggy and raining and not a house with a light on and no traffic,,,,very weird, spooky!  I've been here 6 hours and nothing has gone well, I have a neck pain and headache from looking at all these numbers and computers...haven't even started inventory yet!  But I am going on, eat something maybe take a nap and see how I feel.  This is so stupid!  If month-ends come out every month how can Year-ends be off!  Dr. Mel's finally came out but boss ladies is all screwed up!!!some of it is bounced checks and refund but people have to stop voided stuff also.  UGGG

Busy weekend as usual, Friday after work, I got my oil changed and picked up Connor.  Joe got in late so we stayed up chatting with him  :)  Saturday doctor appointments, gave Joe my massage, then packed deer meat and baby things into his car and he took off @1:30, Hubby and I went to Church and then out for supper, JD and Connor went with Rhyen and Jeremy to a kids celebration...we were all up late again.  shopping Sunday early then laundry, dishes...Jeremy & Rhyen went home @11 last night.  good thing was with Joe on the road, I got to talk text/talk with X-sailor all week end.  She's finally gaining weight and "storm" is mostly behaving, she's having trouble with her iron....but staying positive, still issues but she's hanging in there.

Planning and going to VA in  2 weeks to Navy Baby Shower, can't wait to see everyone again.  Taking another van load of baby things and recliner.....Other daughter and SIL are going also and a couple friends of X-Sailor's from here still waiting to hear from 2 aunts and a cousin to see if they're going.

Well better get off here and get home.

Oneofalot,

I'm sure those two grandbabies of yours gave you lots of joy for Christmas.  How is your daughter's school going??

Good Evening to Everyone and Happy New Year. Hopefully new years will be a little quieter then Christmas.
Comment by Anna on December 29, 2016 at 11:50pm

bbcregular,

Yes, we do learn a lot about ourselves and our spouses, even with being married 40 years, when you live in a tiny living space!!!  I love my hubby but I do miss the times when I could out on my own - volunteer at church, etc... and not have hubby always with me!!!!  But there are so many other really cool things about this RV living that it all evens out!!

Christmas was quiet for me.  Jenn and David went back home bright and early Friday morning.  Hubby and I took them to dinner Thursday night and said our goodbyes after taking them back to the inlaws.  David's family really are super sweet people and we had a really great time visiting with them also!!  I did get to talk to all the other kiddos on Christmas day so that's the next best thing I guess!!!

Wishing everyone a very Happy New Year, and let's hope 2017 is a great year!!!!!

Hahaha  ours took almost 8 years to become our son-in-law but thank God she only married one of the many she brought to us.

Oleander that's wonderful about your daughter. Navy families are truly the best! Watch out though, my daughter invited a lonely sailor to join us last Thanksgiving. 7 months later he became my son in law!
