Steph'sMom,
Congratulations to your daughter!!!! So wonderful to be able to hear their voice after all these weeks of bootcamp!!!! Is her PIR this Friday or next??
bbcregular,
Oh I would love to meet up with you. We plan to winter over somewhere in southern CA the end of this year also. I will certainly stay in touch with you about this!!!!
MissNavyMom,
I wish I could help you with information on remodeling but other than converting a closet into a pantry our trailer is pretty much as it was when we bought it. We did replace our couch/fold out bed but that's about all. I do want to replace the curtains and window shadow boxes but not this year!!! My husband's truck burns diesel and he budgeted so much money for fuel, but we found that prices were lower than we expected so we saved money on fuel!!! Some campgrounds can be expensive so we joined Good Sam's camping club and KOA's club and we save money that way. Sometimes we find nice little independent campgrounds, we just have to know what questions to ask when checking on reservations, such as 50amp electrical service, and how long their spaces are.
JayDee,
So true!! Hope he's able to get the heater repaired or replaced soon and without hassles!!!!
Well I have some of the best news I've been able to share for quite some time. For some of you Moms who have been on here for awhile with me, you know all the trials and tribulations my officer daughter Jennifer has gone through for training to be a Naval Flight Officer. She was so close, but then was diagnosed with a thyroid problem that grounded her for over a year!!! We weren't sure if she was going to be able to stay in the aviation community. Well not only did they keep her but she FINALLY wrapped up her retraining and earned those coveted GOLD WINGS!!!! Here is her hubby pinning on those wings!!! Her Dad pinned them on her the first time in Sept of 2014 but because of missing two questions on a safety sheet, she had to give them back until she could redo that final flight. She had that final flight on Tuesday and passed with "flying" colors!!!
Good morning everybody
Congrats Steph's Mom!!!! Safe travels, have a wonderful time with your sailor! You'll have a remarkable experience - I have chills!
Hope your husband isn't delayed getting home because of the water heater JayDee! Safe travels to him as well.
Have a wonderful bday with your sailor bbcregular!
Blondie, hope you get a little R & R this weekend
Have a great day everyone
awesome congratulations to her, how exciting
Got my call....She did so awesome. So proud of her. She's worn out but so excited to be seeing her momma again. Can't wait. Everyone have a great afternoon and hope to see some of you at the graduation Friday. Safe travels to all.
bbcregular I'm not far from the Creation Museum. Give a shout if you want to try and meet for lunch.
The gas water heater has gone out on our camper. Right now he's in an rv park and has electric but he wants to rectify the situation before he heads home. It's always something. :)
Stephs mom congratulations and hope you get the call soon
Sure thing...Oh Happy Day..despite the heavy rainfall coming down..
Yes you do!!! JayDee's right, my call was almost an hour too. Lots to celebrate, lots to congratulate!!! Let us know when you hear from her.
