Oleander,

Our plans at this point of time is to eventually make our way to WA to visit with sailor son and his family after he gets back from his deployment.  After spending several days there we will slowly make our way down to southern CA to winter over there somewhere. Probably won't be right in San Diego as hubby doesn't want to stay in the city but we will be nearby somewhere!!!  Would love to hook up and meet you in person!!!!

Joining you JayDee! Grabbing a glass of wine and going to sit in the swim spa -- I have a moment of quiet and I'm gonna take advantage of it!

Cheers!

Good evening all. I'm enjoying a glass of wine on my back porch and looking at all the dandelions in my yard. Guess its time to mow. :( Sailor just called as I had called her last night. Can't remember why I called her but it was nice to chat.

Hi everyone.

Thanks Anna -- she had Sunday off and went jet skiing with some of her ship mates - they had a fantastic time! Laughter is the best medicine. But more inspections this week. Not nearly as intense from what I'm hearing, nor are the hours as long.                                                                                San Diego has become one of our favorite cities too - and I imagine it will be my sailors as well. Next time you're out that way I'd love to say hi!

Have a good evening everyone

JayDee,

Sorry, hit send before I was done!!!!  If you get a chance it would be sweet to see a pic of your girl and bf all dressed up.  If she wants her picture posted!!!!  We had our A/C on for several days two weeks ago but then it cooled down and was rainy and windy.  I see we are expecting high 80s later this week!!!!  Still have some outside trailer work to do before hitting the road so I'd like it to stay cool for a little longer!!!!

Steph's Mom,

I'm so sorry you didn't get a phone call from her!!  That really sucks!!!  Like others have said - no news is good news.  You will get your answers - just not right now!!!  I hope she is doing well, just keeping really busy!!  Gotta let us know as soon as you do hear from her!!!!!!!!!

mysailormeg,

Sending her the ace bandages flat in an envelope is a great idea.  I hope that helps her.  Especially if she can put them on in the evening when she's back in her room to rest up her legs!!!  I really hope that helps!!

Oleander,

Hope your girl gets that much deserved rest soon!!!  Hope the inspections are all finished now!!  I am so jealous of you getting lots of San Diego time!!!  I think that's still my most favorite place of all.  Just wish the hubby felt the same!!!!  I have so many beautiful memories of there - not only my first duty station but it's where I met and fell in love with my hubby, and our first child was born there!!!!   **sigh

Hope everyone has a fantastic week!!!!!
