Anna, she's going to Pensacola. Sounds like your about to make some memories as well. Safe travels to you and enjoy all your visits.

hellraiser,

Wonderful pictures. You guys look like you are having such a good time and making memories!!  Where in FL is your girl going?  I'm in Jacksonville!!

I am really excited - leaving Tuesday to go to PA.  First we are stopping near Pittsburgh to visit Jeff and his family although Jeff may not be there.  His job has him in Ohio and he won't be able to come home until the weekend.  So we get to visit with DIL, Ashley and granddaughter Melanie, who turns 3 this Christmas Eve!!!!! Then Friday we drive to State College to see Catherine graduate from Penn State on Saturday.  I am so proud of my girl deciding to go to the Navy right out of high school, knowing she wasn't ready for college at that time.  Then using her GI bill, she got her Bachelor's in 3 years going full time year round!!!!  So our last child will graduate from college!!!!  Jeff is hoping to get over to watch graduation also since he is an alumni along with his Dad.  Only going to get to spend 2 days with her and then head back to FL in time for Christmas, alone!!!  Oh well, it's expensive traveling when you have to stay in hotels!!  And they are calling for snow!!!!

In case I'm not on much the next 5 days, I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!!  Will check in when I can!!!

Love to all our sailors, active, veteran, in bootcamp, or waiting to go to bootcamp!!!!

Morning Everyone!! Well I went and seen my baby girl yesterday, She heads to flordia this week and not sure if she will be home for Christmas. I can say I'm one happy Momma/Aunt! I got my Santa Picture with my babies and nephew!!! We went to the mall, then to Chuck e Cheese, then we decided to go spend the last few hours at the park! We had the best time. My brother and a couple of our friends boys went with also!

JayDee,

How exciting for you!! I hope you enjoy every moment with your sailor!!!

Annmarie,

So good to see you here!!!  I sent you a separate welcome message on your page!  Having your daughter leave this close to the holidays must make the holidays just a little more challenging.  So true - it's always hard to let them go!!  Tell us a little about your sailor - what rating is she hoping to go for??

Good evening all. I'm counting the days - 8 more sleeps until my girl comes home. I realize that there will be many holidays to come where I won't be able to see her so I'm planning on making the most of this one. Her puppy is going to be super excited to see her too. :)
