Good morning all.
Oh no cjbmom! I'm so sorry! Hopefully it's a slight sprain and will heal quickly. Elevate, advil/tylenol/alieve and ice if she can! sending her ((hugs)) for her birthday and a quick recovery. ((hugs)) to you too. We carry so much of their pain, don't we?
Adorable birthday board Jean! Let us know about your job - sending all things positive your way.
My sailor is having a very difficult time adjusting on her ship. They (the other women mostly) refuse to call her by name - only call her "new girl",exclude her from conversations, don't sit with her at meals, etc. She normally makes friends easily and is liked by everyone but they've told her she has to earn her name. She's miserable, sad and alone. Any prayers or love being sent her way would be greatly appreciated.
Hope this is a great Monday for all of us and for our beautiful sailors.
Jean, BTW that board your daughter made for Aurora is too cute!! A great idea... Hope your lil Leo had a great birthday!!
Today is my baby's 20th birthday!! She is currently in Texas for MA school, only has 3 more weeks! She has done so well, been lots ups and downs with many more to come. Just as I was praying that she have a good day and that her PT today came easier to her and the Texas heat be a little more forgiving, I got a phone call from her saying that she sprained her ankle this morning!! I'm so sad for her, but she didn't go to medical for fear of being pushed back. Any advice on fast recovery - she did finish PT this morning and hopefully she won't have to run again until Wednesday! Please keep her in your prayers - she's come so far and is supposed have leave in 3 weeks before going off to Bahrain - so she desperately wants to finish school... Thanks.
Here is a board that Christina made with all the things that Aurora did in her 1st year.
Here is Aurora eating her very first cupcake and sugar.
Good Morning to Everyone.
I will let everyone know what they say right after I get off the phone with them.
Aurora's birthday was fantastic. My daughter did a great job with the party. I know some thing it is pointless to have such a big birthday party for a one year old but it is more for the people that survived the year. LOL. I will see if I can get the some of the pictures downloaded onto the computer and pass them on. Even the weather was good. It was in the 80's for her party. We are back in the 90's for a few days this week.
Hope Aurora had a beautiful bday. Good luck tomorrow Jean
