Good Morning to everyone.

Welcome Hellraiser. You finally found us. We will help you get through the next 6 friday's. This is a good bunch of moms that know what to say or do to help out. We have all been there or are just going through it. My daughter has been out for almost 2 years now. I can't believe it has been that long. I still am on because I have made so many friends and don't want to lose them. We share a lot of stuff and we are all going through different things that the Navy is doing. So you found the right place.

Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend.

Lovely, I am sorry you are going through all of that. I will pray that it all works out.

Morning Everyone, I just wanted to Introduce myself. I'm a mom of 3. My oldest daughter who is 18 fresh out of high school is in bootcamp right now. She graduates 8-28-15. Shes going to be a MA! It's been rough the last few weeks since she left. We are a very close/tight family. My youngest (boy) was attached to his big sis. He has his days. Last week was a good week him and his 13 yr old sister got along great, they helped me out with the housework so we did something fun sunday to praise them. THis week all they want to do is fight, my son wakes up with an attitude, and all i want to do is cry. I see others in different group getting letters and call, and im over here like WTH. I know it will come just wish it would hurry. My oldest was my sidekick, partner in crime. My husband is a TOwboat Captain so he is gone 20/30 days at a time and home 10. So she was my biggest help around the house, helping shuffle kids in different directions ect. She was my back bone!! Im counting down 6 fridays left til i can hug her again!!

Good Morning to Everyone.

Catsmom, He is so cute. Welcome to the world of grand parenting. This world is a wonderful place. We get to love our kids as well as theirs but we get to give back theirs and not take them home to raise. We also get to spoil them. That is the best part. My world is just opening up to the spoiling. Now that Aurora can eat our kind of food. I was spoiling her before with other things. Now it is with everything. So enjoy!! the time goes so quick.

Good Morning to Everyone.

Today I really feel old. It is my daughters 24th birthday. She is my youngest so it really makes me feel old. She has accomplished so much in 24 years. When I was 24 I was raising my kids. She has done so much. I think she has dropped the idea of going back into the military for now. She will have her degree in January and will be able to have her pick on any company she wants to work at that deals with aviation.

Anna, hope you are enjoying all the places you get to go to.

Blondie, still praying for your family,

Catsman, enjoy your time with your grandson. they are precious and grow up so fast.

Oleander, I am glad she is not to far from you. It is nice when it works out that way.

Welcome all the new people.

Oleander,

So happy for your daughter!!!  I loved being in San Diego!!!

Catsmom,

I feel your baby separation pain.  I wish I could be closer to my granddaughters but it's just not in the cards for me!!!

So I have no idea what happened but I was on here earlier this morning and posted comments back to many of you but I don't see my post at all!!!  Did it post and disappear or not show up at all??
