Hi everyone, tried to post more yesterday, but for some reason it wouldn't add the comment. Hugs to all in need of a hug, happy for all who got to be with, or talk to their Sailors! Vicky run, happy you had your grandson, and was able to skype with Chrissy!

Andrea thank you so much for posting pictures for me.

Jean, oh how exciting seeing her first steps! I wish I could be with Justin for his first year, they are here in Norfolk ( Va. Beach) I am in south Orange County Calif. will cherish what visits we can afford to do! I agree best thing is to be able to spoil them, and give them back to mom and dad.LOL I took the night with Justin last night, loved cuddling with him most of the night. He was very good, just cried a little when he needed to be changed. Then he would snuggle with me and go back to sleep.

Oleander so jealous, wish my girl was in San Diego, but excited for you!
Anna, happy you are enjoying your adventures, can't wait to hear more about them.
Blonde, hope all is going well for you and your girl. Did the harassing stop yet?

I am reading all your posts, feeling your joy, and all the other emotions. I am a little foggy, trying to adjust to the time change and a new born.LOL

Hi DepthCharge4 -- thanks! we're so happy! I'm not sure whether Coronado or the SD base. I'm sure I'll know more tomorrow. It's been a busy day for her - finals, graduation, etc. She is DC - Damage Control.

Oleander! That is outstanding news! Will she be at NAB-Coronado? Or the San Diego base? Tell me what her rate is again?

Hi all!

My daughter just got her orders --- San Diego, exactly what she wanted!!! Her final test is today, she's hoping for written orders on Friday and to be home on leave next week.

We're so excited - she'll only be a few hours away! And her best friend since boot camp is stationed in San Diego too!

It's been a great day!!!!

Vickyrun, I agree whole hardly. I like spoiling her and then giving her back. I am just waiting until I can really spoil her. Like making cookies with her and having her bring them all home so they are not at my house. LOL.

Good morning all, That is the fun part of grand-parenting, Jean. You can spoil them and give them back to the parents to deal with. Lol, I said that out loud when Aidan was here and he asked "Why is that the best part.' I said "Because it is."

Good Morning to Everyone.

Aurora is actually walking now. She took her first 5 steps on Sunday. She doesn't like doing it, crawling is faster. Christina was there when she did the 5 steps so I didn't have to hold back all the excitement. We wish we would of had a video of it. It was so cute.

Catsmom, just wait all the fun of the first year is there waiting for you. I am excited about what will hold for the next year. Aurora turns 1 on August 9th. Can't wait for that. Grandma already got her addicted to Slurpees from 7 11. If you don't have a 7 11 near you a slurpee is like an Icee. frozen drinks. I can hardly wait to see her eat cake and Ice cream. Grandma is bad. LOL. Have a good day everyone.
